Given all of the above problems, Dr Sidhu at Advanced Medical and Weight Loss Center strives hard for his patients to lose and maintain their weight. Our medical weight loss program is a safe and effective approach for patients who've struggled with losing weight on their own. In addition to our structured diet and exercise plans based on individual metabolic rates, we give our patients an advantage in losing weight with a combination of three products:

Dr. Sidhu offers a personalized plan to achieve your weight loss goals and look better. Our weight loss program is initiated with necessary blood tests, and we use this information to make a diet plan and weight loss program that meets your needs.

New patient visit includes:

•  An in-depth initial visit with our obesity medicine specialist physician
•  A thorough patient medical history and physical exam
•  Detailed body composition analysis
•  Personalized diet and exercise plan
• Assessment of lifestyle factors that may be contributing to
  weight issues along with counseling and recommendations
• Discussion of additional testing if necessary (ie. Adrenal cortisol
  dysfunction, hormone imbalances, gut health tests)
•  Lab work (Hemoglobin (HbA1c)), Complete Blood Count (CBC),
  Thyroid, Lipid Panel, Chemistry Panel, Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Vitamin D
• Determination of insurance coverage for prescription medications such 
  as Wegovy and assistance with any required prior authorization forms
• Educational materials (information on nutrition, exercise, diets, etc.)

We recommend follow-up visits every four weeks with the option of weekly visits for supplements/injections. No contracts! No hidden fees! 

Wegovy® (semaglutide):

Call us at (770) 467-3975 and one of our patient care coordinators can help you determine if the prescription medication Wegovy® (generic name semaglutide) is covered under your insurance plan. Pay as little as $0 monthly for a month supply if your insurance company covers this medication.

Wegovy® is a prescription medication that is used to help adults and children aged ≥12 years who are overweight or have obesity to lose weight and keep it off. It was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in June 2021 for chronic weight management in addition to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Tirzepatide:

Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Mounjaro®. It is a weekly injectable medication in a group of drugs called GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists. Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) are hormones involved in blood-sugar control. After a person has eaten, these hormones are secreted by cells of the intestines, and in turn cause the secretion of insulin. Tirzepatide is a GIP-analogue that activates both the GLP-1 and GIP receptors, leading to improved blood-sugar control and weight loss.

• Type 1 Diabetes
• History of pancreastitis
• Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
• Personal or family history of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)
• Currently pregnant or trying to get pregnant in the near future
• Breastfeeding
• History of gastoparesis

Medication Costs:

The cost of a one-month supply of Wegovy® retails for around $1300. This is the retail price if insurance does not cover the medication. At this time, the manufacturer provides a coupon that reduces the price by $500. Many insurance plans cover this medication.
